About The Green Team Trees

Company History

The Green Team Trees was started in 1991 as the Arboricultural division of The Green Team. Having established itself  throughout London and the Home Counties, The Green Team spotted the need for high quality professional Tree Surgeons to support its customers.

Tree surgery at this time was routinely done by sole traders with little to no experience. Safety was often neglected and there seemed to be little interest in actual arboriculture. So called Tree Surgeons were often little more than someone who had just bought a chainsaw and knew nothing about correct arboricultural techniques. The Green Team Trees was established to provide a dedicated, trained and enthusiastic service where the look and long term look and health of a tree was at the heart of every contract.
